Don't do it. I just had an itinerary canceled when my corporate travel agent inadvertently duplicated the booking. Both the original and dupe got nixed.
Any chance that one of your other passengers is a spouse or someone you would be comfortable adding as an authorized card user? You
might be able to get away with letting that person be the card holder for the second reservation.
