I received a Yellow Fever vaccination from the company Doctor back in 2010, before travelling to South America. I have since left the company (in 2011) and moved cities and recently lost my little yellow book with my vaccination records (left it in a rental car).

Later in 2015 (it will be just over the 5 year mark), I am going to Ethiopia for a couple of days (staying in Addis Ababa), transiting through NBO, DXB before going to Thailand.

Timatic states that going into Thailand from a country within the previous 10 days with Yellow Fever requires a vaccination certificate.

So do I try my luck with my previous company and ask for a copy of a current vaccination certificate, or get a booster to get a new certificate, 5 years after the original injection?

Or has no one ever been asked going into Thailand for a copy of their yellow fever certificate?
