Return Cancelled? I've never been this angry at BA before.

My flight from SIN to LHR on another carrier was cancelled. I was re-booked for a later flight, which caused me to miss my BA departure in CE to LUX from Heathrow.

No worries, I said, I bought a one-way to LUX on SAS as there was no availability on BA. I phoned the BA Gold line to ensure that my return to LHR from LUX was still intact despite my not showing up for the first leg.

No dice. The entire booking is cancelled and there's "nothing they can do." They kept telling me that it's a non-changeable fare. I DON'T WANT TO CHANGE ANYTHING. I want to fly on the plane with the CE ticket I paid for. No changes.

If this is the best they can do for me with my Club Europe ticket and Gold Card, I need to reconsider my carriers. I can't recall ever being this angry with BA.

I fully anticipate responses here from people that will tell me that this is "normal". It won't make me any less ticked off.
