The OP is saying:
- match the valid ticket numbers from AA with what CX have in their computers.
- so if your AA ticket number is 0011234567899 then make sure that CX also registers this in their system record locator: 0011234567899
- if CX is placing you on hold forever then goto:
1. CX site, Manage Booking--> name and use CX booking reference # to look up reservation
2. Click on "Travel Document" (the space to enter your passport info etc.) It will prompt you for eticket number but prefill "160" for you.
3. Delete the "160" and paste entire AA ticket # in the space "0011234567899" and proceed. (yes it will allow you to do this)
4. If it allows you in after this step, in my opinion you are golden. If not please arrive at the airport early or get on the phone with CX to update the right ticket number in to the Record Locator as there might be a mismatch somewhere.
