AMEX FHR program - can one use other AMEX cards when checking out?
I am an Canadian AMEX Platinum cardholder. A few years ago, I got confirmation from the Canadian AMEX Platinum travel agent that I can book a hotel participating in the AMEX FHR program using my AMEX Platinum card, but I could then use another AMEX card to pay my hotel bill at check-out. I did indeed go through the process of doing that in a hotel in Milan Italy and also Lugano Switzerland.

Now, the Canadian AMEX Platinum customer service and also travel agents can not confirm that the benefit is available for AMEX Platinum (and Centurion) cardholders? Anyone have insight into this?
