No need for DM - they do that for passengers with tight transits between CX/KA flights, and you don't even need to inform the crew.
One very extreme case: Was at something like 144 from PVG... A ground staff was waiting right under the stairs and fetch one or two people (in Y) away directly there... I don't know if they are transiting or whatever but this is amazing
