I have personal experience of this. Gold for over 13 years. Was due to drop to Silver, but was comp'd another year. I didn't ask for it. It just happened. So I suspect they only consider this for very long-term GC holders (my guess would be around the 10 year mark).

Said the man with GGL status Having now moved from Gold to Silver this year, I must say that I really do miss the Galleries First. I've obviously been spoiled over the years, but I do actually think that F lounge access is a worthy benefit. Looks like I should be back up to Gold again in the next couple of months though
