As an addition: don't assume that taxis are waiting at each station in Vlaardingen, it may be just the case in Vlaardingen Centrum (and maybe Vld Oost, Vld West I am pretty sure not at all). If you intend to use a taxi for the last bit, I suggest you prearrange one. I trust your dining partners can help you with that.
