I remember Calchas was telling me about this crazy routing that was possible on one of the discount I fares between OSL and SYD with some back-tracking between SIN and HKG, but cannot remember the details or whether it is still available.
I think they have stopped the banking on oneself in OZ routing but still relatively easy to get OSL LHR SIN HKG PER SYD.
