Hi all, apologies if I am not doing this in the correct thread, but I was wondering what you all thought of this.

I am trying to book an aeroplan flight for YYZ->LHR and noticed something strange.

When I booked for 1 person, there's availability for business class and the carrier surcharges are $382.

Meanwhile, when I book for 1 person for economy for the same flight, the carrier surcharge is $188.

I looked for some random date for a business vs economy award flight to Tokyo HND, and they both have the same surcharges. Another random future date search for YYZ->LHR shows the same discrepancy of having business class cost 2x as much in fees.

Is this something new, or is there something about LHR that is unique?
