Today I spoke with an AAdvantage Account Service supervisor. He told me that soft landing is something they [at AAdvantage] have mentioned bringing back to better serve customers. I was Platinum last year and am currently no status, on track to reach Platinum this summer. Fingers crossed they'll bring back soft landings!
