All went fine (the SBB delivered me perfectly on time to Basel), the flights were punctual and reasonably pleasant. The BSL-GVA service aboard a clapped out Avroliner, with the armrests falling off and clattering to the floor and seat numbers dropping to the floor, was packed out. The BRU-GVA was quite empty (1 person per row), but a coughing female behind me rather blemished the experience. The positive: friendly crew, good punctuality, a smattering of miles. The negative: rubbish POB service which I hate, for which the crew shot so quickly up the aisle there was no chance to order anything. What is the point of having 4 classes of service on a European flight?? And what does SN offer me that easyJet doesn't? Why should I not fly with easyJet next time and save money?
