Once it is ticketed then you will pay a change fee - if you can get your corporate travel to put it on hold, then maybe you could call and upfare it - but then you;d need to get AA to charge part to your corporate travel agent and part to your card, which they probably can't do.
My strategy with these problems is to not use corporate travel agents, but to use my corporate card for the whole fare and then when I do the expenses form, I take the upfare as a personal expense. But our system 'allows' us to do this - as long as we don't do it too often. But I've worked in other companies where the corporate travel agency worked completely differently and this sort of thing just couldn't be done.
