As an aside, despite offloading myself, I still got a call from the AMS flight boarder on my mobile asking where I was about 10 minutes before the AMS flight took off. Hope this didnt delay the flight.
I never realised the gate would try to phone your mobile.
Makes sense given ba.com ask for it in the booking.
