I got the same reminder e-mail after all stuff was sent. I didn't call, I just replied stating that I had already submitted all information and that I also had a case number after that.
Next mail was the one saying that everything was (finally!) in order.

If you use the same credit card for the next booking, logically they shouldn't ask you to go through the same process again. Asking you to verify the same card again is rather pointless. But who knows. Logic doesn't seem to figure too much in their thinking.
