The refurbished item exclusion seems to be removed. You can consider it is covered now.

Am I correct in thinking that you are primarily interested in the Extended Warranty benefit rather than Purchase Protection, which only applies for 90 days? The probability of having a refrigerator lost or stolen seems vanishingly low.
