My colleague has an EC award booking in Eurotraveller later today, and would quite like to catch the previous flight (which looks fairly wide open) if possible. He is travelling with carry-on only. Would this need to be rebooked through EC, and subject to award availability, or would a check-in or gate agent be able to rebook him on the earlier flight?
