What does Delta gain by limiting this access (if they even can from a technical standpoint)?
Customer doesn't know the fare calculation and thus doesn't have that (fare calculation) data to support possible court cases showing clear discriminatory (or "personalized") pricing, whereby frequent flyers / frequent customers are charged more than the general public. That's just one possible gain and one possible application. It's crystal clear that Dullta does not want its customers to be informed and it is working hard to take away what little of transparency that there was left in regards to ticket availability and pricing.
