I ended up at Martin Berasategui after a whole host of other San Sebastian 3* bookings didn't happen, but I really enjoyed it too. Looking back it wasn't the absolute best meal I've ever had, but I can't help think that if it were in anywhere else but San Sebastian it would be a lot more famous.

I'm having a very Michelin-y week this week. Tomorrow I'm going to the 2* Cheval Blanc in Basel and then on Saturday I've got a seat at a London pop-up of Paco Rancero from the 2* Sublimotion which is the world's most expensive restaurant.
