Rather than start a new thread can I ask a related question - I am heading to HNL in July and BA (AA) have cancelled my flight back and put me on a later one. As it's a 2 hour difference I was given the option of cancelling the whole booking and rebooking - I called the new booking line and the very helpful chap saved my booking but said I would need to call the cancellation line - I ran out of time during the sale period as the queues to get through were massive so shelved the idea.
Question - I have yet to accept the new flights on the original booking so can still change the flights without a fee; would I now be charged the difference in price between the sale and current rates if I want to shift the flights to a day earlier?
