The handle also seems less "modern"?

I see what you mean - the corner guards on the hinge side in the black 83l picture look they are extended to offer some kind of foot to stabilize the bag when on its side. I don't recall seeing that but maybe I didn't pay attention to this Limbo-like version LH calls the elegance collection. In fact I don't remember seeing them on display.

Interesting enough, though if you look at the seal gray 83l, the pictures of the whole range don't show those funny-looking corners.

In checking out the liners on the 83l - they look identical to those on my Limbo.
