It has been a real trend to have pianos dotted about the place since I first saw them around London about 4/5 years ago. Certainly is nice if you have a decent player, although I have suffered at St Pancras a few times with someone bashing out basic pop chords repeatedly.

I tend not to play them even though playing the piano is my job... you have to pay for that privilege

I think the last time I used a public piano was in Amsterdam Centraal on my way to Schipol. It was a nicely in tune baby grand so I couldn't resist!
