AA *used* to be competitive with UA. Today (ignoring web fares which often can't be end-to-ended), the cheapest fares show as:

DFW-BOS AA=269 UA=143
DFW-STL AA=203 UA=101
DFW-LNK AA=296 UA=101
... and so on.

There are (of course) a lot of examples where AA is no *more* expensive than UA, but I had a hard time finding ANY city pairs in the lower 48 where AA is over $100 less than UA.

Did I just hit a bad day, or have others noticed that UA seem to have become cheaper compared to AA lately?

I was beginning to construct a MR on AA out of DFW but might put it on ice for a while at these prices.
