It's been hit and miss for me with regular cash registers. Some clerks immediately run the reload properly, others just send me to CS register. Yesterday i had my first experience with 'coaching' a register clerk. She never did a reload before but she was willing to learn when I said I've done it before. She was amazed how easy it was, as long as she followed the step by step.
At the end she was prompted to enter the last 4 numbers, and she started to enter the last 4 of my redcard, so I had to stop her and show her my CC instead. She ended grateful to me for teaching her. Win win !
