A colleague here in Bangalore with me is heading home tomorrow on the 7am BA118 flight to LHR. He's been advised that the inbound flight is running 2 hours late and he intends to turn up later at the airport tomorrow. He's spoken to BA and changed his connection to EDI.

He's checked in online and has a bag to check in. I warned him about assuming he would be able to drop off his bag after of the original bag drop time limit and he should check with BA on that.

Was I right to do so or will he be ok to turn up later and drop off his bag?
