Amanresorts, even more so than Four Seasons, is/was(?) VERY hush hush about their guests, irrespective of their celebrity status. I remember a guest at Amanzo'e dropping the name of a famous travel writer and commenting about his/her
stay, to which the manager in question replied that they'd "never comment or disclose information about future or past guests whatsoever". Even though it was an open secret. But I like that myself and I would think other guests appreciate this approach as well and would hope that under new ownership things will be handled in the same way. This whole Beyonce/Amanpuri/free stay publicity issue comes to my mind, which is very un-Aman?
Generally my / our experience too that no names are mentioned . We ' ve always appreciated the Aman style & approach .
But it seems things maybe slipping , since last year , not so much by the individual Amans management teams though . But read between the lines , just hope the teams are allowed to run the Amans as before .
