Meaning Aman has always been rather discreet but these days along with new HQ management / new owners somewhat involved , much is public knowledge . If they say any thing , it ' s probably already in the news somewhere like Facebook, Twitter , etc which most have these days ( not me )
Like after Aman Tokyo ' s official opening , some guests are descending on Amano'i in the next few days / week .. If any of you reading this are here too , it will be interesting

, but being a widespread property , you may not see anyone anyway , perhaps at the restaurant

Perhaps you are already in Tokyo .. ainternational ??
Amanresorts, even more so than Four Seasons, is/was(?) VERY hush hush about their guests, irrespective of their celebrity status. I remember a guest at Amanzo'e dropping the name of a famous travel writer and commenting about his/her

stay, to which the manager in question replied that they'd "never comment or disclose information about future or past guests whatsoever". Even though it was an open secret. But I like that myself and I would think other guests appreciate this approach as well and would hope that under new ownership things will be handled in the same way. This whole Beyonce/Amanpuri/free stay publicity issue comes to my mind, which is very un-Aman?
