Uniqlo - the Airism (for women) is somewhat see through so can only be worn under another layer. But I like them and they're very affordable. Love the Heattech too - my husband loves the turtlenecks and I love the long sleeve crew necks for women. And the heattech tights!
Love merino wool (icebreaker, smartwool - whatever other items I find at Costco or on Sierra Trading Post).
Husband loves Levi Commuter pants (slim dungaree and the carpenter pant) Very water resistant but still cotton. For very VERY water resistant and a little dressier, the Outlier trousers (the ones with Schoeller fabric). I also have some pants in Schoeller fabric - love it! I'd probably not pay full price but I found mine at a thrift store for $5. Massive score
(when we travel for leisure, we seem to go to wet/cold places, like northern Europe in Nov or Dec - so water resistant is pretty important to us - I also like quick dry when I travel for work in case I need to wash something in the hotel)
