Or simply actually PRC originated booking are so good now that they can just charge more... Per my own observation loading to PRC ports are really well these days no matter which day and what time I fly...
Mainlanders consider CX/KA to be the best "Chinese airlines", so CX/KA realized these rich mainlanders will pay to fly them.
