I hit an ATM on arrival myself which was helpful as a lot of things I wanted to do (The Peak Tram, cabs, a Vietnamese Restaurant) were cash and Octopus only.
Incidentally, I had about HKD 660 leftover which XE.com says is worth $85, the Travelex at the HKG right before the T1 Security Checkpoint bought it for $77 which wasn't too bad.
