i've heard the SFO-Zurich Swiss flight referred to as the "genentech express."

About an hour outside of Zurich is Basel, where there are tons of pharma/biotech companies as well, so SFO-ZUR is huge.

for those of you who are from the Bay Area, Basel is like the South SF of Switzerland - suburb of a big city, kinda older/crummy (but charming), and full of biotech/pharma.
