If the pit boss troubled himself to take your players card, he may have noted your bet on the first few hands($5?) and then walked away. Your bet was entered, if at all, as $5, as far as he was concerned.
And, if that was the case, assuming that they use 60 hands/hr and $1 theo for blackjack (which is pretty standard) you are looking at $6 of theo and $1 to $2 in total comps (not comp dollars).
This is not stingy; it's standard.
