I have taken many courier trips from LAX and SFO with most through IBC Pacific with all destinations in Asia. Many RTs were from $200 to a max of $400. Frequent flyer miles were always earned, either on UA or NW. My shortest trip was four nights in hotels and the longest was eight nights. A little negotiating was needed to get 7 days or less since they tell you 7 days is minimum, but a good discussion with them usually gets them to change their mind. I met many others traveling as couriers on the same aircraft through different agencies, and most had only good comments about couriering. My last courier trip one was prior to 9-11, and the offerings have dropped significantly to the point I quit looking. Aircourier.org WAS very good prior to being purchased by someone like Cheaptickets??? I gave up on it after that change which deleted the true benefits, as best I could tell.
