I thought that was the case - until this week - I had to make a change to a booking that was utterly impossible on the website so called NZ to make the change. Needs less to say I wasn't amused when the receipt turned up with a $60 service fee (that wasn't declared at all during the call).
All sorted after calling back, but they implied that they normally wouldn't have waived it (I was adding a segment to an existing booking, I didn't want to book a one way fare though). I guess I'm lucky they failed to mention the fee?
