I've been a regular SQ flyer for 5 years, and have really enjoy racking up miles (all in Y!) and then easily being able to spend them on upgrades. I see availability, I request an upgrade and I'm done.

In the last year, as I have moved some flying to QR, I've tried to do the same, but it's been horrible. A couple of months back, I put in a request, a few weeks before flying (admittedly no availability showing), but only got a reply apologising for it not coming through a week after my trip! Yesterday, I found availability for an upgrade on an upcoming flight, put in a Qcredit upgrade request, and have heard nothing. I rang up my local office and they said they couldn't see any availability but would chase up. Is this really how it's supposed to be done? How are we ever to use these Qcredits and Qmiles?
