Nice graphic... Something to take a (brief) look at are the differences between Visa Signature & Mastercard-branded cards. Some of these banks issue the same product in both flavours (ie: Chase Freedom comes in both Visa & MC flavours, not sure about CSP or the others), and I'm not certain the trip delay benefits are the same if it's branded as a MC vs. Visa Sig.
Also might be worthwhile to explore what sort of charges are actually included/excluded by card/bank as well. I'd imagine some would cover hotels only, etc.
It looks like everyone has a general definition of covered expenses (hotel, meals, toiletries, "other.."), and no bank that I could find has specific exclusions on what's covered.
It's interesting that you bring up the Visa & MC distinction. Originally I thought this was a benefit underwritten by Visa for its Visa Signature products, so I was surprised to find that the Citi MC AAdvantage cards offer it too. It looks Citi outsourced to an independent insurance company for this particular benefit:

And I thought it was interesting that they considered 3, 6, and 12 hour cutoffs for the delay requirement.
