Why does Delta wait until close to your flight time to show gate information in their website or mobile app? It would be nice to see gates as soon as their available. It seems the information is available because sites like Flightaware does display the information.

I 100% understand and experience that last minute gate changes happens but if the information is available to other aviation sites, I would think that Delta has this information as well but is choosing not to show it immediately.
