world traveller catering question

hi there,

I'm flying WT to Tel Aviv next Tuesday with my 79 year old mum who hasn't flown (or been abroad) in about 15 years! I've only flown short haul (and largely CE) for the last few years, so was wondering what to expect re catering on the flight. Is it a tiny meal? I'm assuming it'll be hot, but maybe I'm assuming too much. What I really hoped for, was a reasonably priced upgrade, but it still seems to be 1000 quid a head. Ah well. Maybe I'll treat her to a meal at Plane Food beforehand!

Cheers, J.
