Air China reviews are all over the map. I think a lot depends on how you and the FA's can communicate. Many reviews indicated language barriers make it difficult for the FA's to provide good service because they don't understand what the passenger wants.

I'm taking my first Air China flight this Saturday, IAH-PEK. Followed by several Air China domestic flights within China, then PEK-IAH on 3/24.
