Just write or call MPC just before end of April. They usually either simply renew your Gold status (less likely) or extend your qualification period for a month or two (quite likely).

If they renew your qualification period, your status will drop to Silver on 1 May. After the required mileage is posted within the extended period, you should notify MPC and they will upgrade you back to Gold.
