This is a new change. Just another example of how AC is cracking down on all of us and for no valid reason. I am very disappointed. With flying to YTZ I save big on taxis. It is so convenient but not useful if you use a Flight Pass. I should not have to use 2 segments for such a short flight.

An agent from YUL call centre promised to call be back today but his non response speaks volumes to me.

I see NO value in a Rapidair pass other than the few UpG miles. The U/g have already been degraded (max 12) on a route that has already been devalued.
The way I see it 100,000 is this; if AC does not want to effectively compete on a route, then it is their loss. I am willing to bet that the reason why this was accepted (considering the non stop options available to YYZ) was the launch of PD service. It seems AC has given up trying to run PD out of business and has stopped the counter promotions, and in this case the allowable routing to keep your business.

If flying AC costs you more money in cabs, then simply fly PD and put the money saved on AC FP fares and cabs towards a nice holiday vacation.
