Now I know that the recent "enhancements" have annoyed many, myself included, and have also made me question as to whether or not I still wish to fly with BA.

However I was thinking about good things that still make the airline what it is.

For me it is the Britishness of the company, boarding a flight with the national flag on the tail and ultimately supporting British jobs.

It is also for me the staff, I too have had staff onboard BA who have turned me against travelling with them again, however on my next flight to be met with some of the greatest crew that I have ever experienced, who were clearly passionate about the job and the company.

Onboard it is also the fact that service is usually provided with the crews often being generous with the booze!

Perhaps this sounds snobby, but for me I always feel better getting off a BA flight and arriving at T5, then EZY arriving at Luton.

For all its faults, I still think that it is such a brilliant airline, although management appear to want to drive it to the ground, it is the loyal staff who keep me coming back with their great service.

I am flying to BRU next weekend, out with EZY and back with BA and will certainly use that to see what airline is better and as to whether I will still use BA altogether on SH.

Let me know your POSITIVE views on BA!

Well Said that man!

Despite all the moaning winging tossers on this board BA are still the Daddy!

On New Year's Eve flying over Hong Kong Harbour when the fireworks were going off on the A380 it felt awesome to be on a BA Aircraft! on the UD

you can keep your tacky Gold Bling EK and give me BA anyday!

Many years ago they "were" the best airline in the world by a longshot! I know those days are long gone and despite there short comings they are still an enjoyable airline to travel with.

right I will shut up now! ^
