Not at all I say and I've never heard of it on here as it goes against the whole spirit of offering/guesting a fellow FT'r. (I'd never guest a stranger or anyone who only posts requests and contributes nothing to the BA Board or Flyertalk)

I've been very fortunate to have been guested quite a number of times into a superior lounge (thank you all, you know who you are ^) and never been asked for cash............yet!!!!!

Likewise I will happily guest when I can and wouldn't even think about accepting anything in monetary terms.
