I'm trying to figure out how the OP was trying to rip off ICH. They cancelled a reservation and thought that ICH hadn't returned the points. When he/she found out that they had a few months ago (in what seems like a mistake on ICH's part), the OP dropped it.
I've found ICH customer service to be the worst, by a long-shot, among the "Big 5." I would have been ticked off, also.
