Hi All,

I just wanted to update on the progress of my claim. I submitted my MCOL papers after not receiving any reply from BA from my letter before action 14 days after sending it. 3 days after submitting, I get a nice e-mail from BA's legal team, explaining why they are certain how I won't win the case, but just in case, they're happy to pay my £70 fees and give me an e-voucher for £880 or 80K avios.

I negotiated this offer and received a £1200 eVoucher, valid for 2 years and my court fees refunded.

Moral of the story. If you have something resembling a case, immediately contact CS. CS will 100% ignore you, so after 2 weeks send a Letter Before Action. 2 weeks after that, submit court papers. BA simply don't care until you hit them where it hurts. Personally, I'd just go straight down the MCOL route next time and not even bother doing a LBA, but people here say that's bad practice.
