Luxury resort in Fajardo slated to have 300 rooms
A luxury tourism project under development for many years on Puerto Rico's east coast will soon see the light of day with a resort operating under the Four Seasons flag, and the groundbreaking ceremony expected to be held during the first quarter of 2015, sources close to the matter told CARIBBEAN BUSINESS.
The resort—on a 640-acre lot near El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo— is slated to have about 300 rooms, a spa, an 18-hole golf course, as well as several event spaces, including a ballroom that can accommodate up to 400 people.
Construction is expected to take up to 2.5 years and entails a $300 million investment.
