I thought AI DEL-SIN to be on B787 now and a direct flight on that in C should be better than connecting in KUL notwithstanding delays on some days IMHO..
It is indeed a 787 flight but the problem is sub par service in all classes and poor ontime performance. MH on the other hand offers almost similar fares as AI given their situation and has a much more attentive staff and better service across.
