I don’t get all the responses about safety here. As far as I’m concerned, FR, U2, BA and all other mainstream European and US airlines (including AF, whatever some on here might say) are fully regulated and certified as safe, and I have no reason to believe that one is materially less safe than another. I certainly wouldn’t avoid any on those grounds.

As for BA, I really like:
- the network, esp. with oneworld
- the FFP up to 28 April
- free seat selection until HBO changes
- BA brand and Britishness
- lounge access, esp. at other OW hubs

That’s pretty much it though. The crews, cabins and food I find at best adequate, and sadly in most cases below par.
