So maybe there is a market for it. I know that if I were faced with a long haul flight and had the option of paying an extra hundred pounds or so for a child free flight, that is something I would certainly consider.
And yes, I know, adults can also be a pain in the **** on a flight
It's probably booked up by parents getting away from the kids for the weekend!
We take a week long vacation each year without the kid. I prefer kid free areas, but don't mind kids in the general area.
Not because I don't like kids, just because I'm trying to escape every day life and relax a bit.
I honestly couldn't be bothered one little bit by children on a plane. Contrary to popular believe, 99.9% of kids are not obnoxious and the infants do not cry the whole 5 hours that the flight last. If an infant is crying for 5 hours straight, it's not being a brat or the parents aren't being inattentive, but it's an extreme circumstance that should warrant immediate medical attention.
