I was in LAX on Saturday. Three flights were boarding at the same time. Massive confusion reigned as gate lice swarmed at the same time and the GA kept on making announcements without stating the gate number.

Example Gate 58B: We are now boarding first and diamond medallions.

Gate 56: Please people we are only boarding infants and children traveling in car seats and strollers. First class passengers please hold off boarding.

Gate 58B: now calling all zone one passengers to please board at this time.

Gate 56: Zone one please wait to board until I have called your zone.

Gate 55A: Now calling last call for all zones.
Confusion won.
